We are currently seeking a couple of motivated garden loving individuals to join our team!
Crew Member
Schedule:
Our season usually starts and ends depending on the weather: around or slightly before May 1st until the end of October, approximately 6 months. Our crews work M-F, 6-8 hours per day.
Some examples of work include:
-
weeding and tidying beds
-
planting of annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees
-
digging and amending soil
-
executing garden makeovers
Requirements:
-
physically fit to bend, lift, walk for the duration of your shift
-
able to work in the sun, rain, wind, winter
-
adaptable, flexible, and function effectively in a team environment
-
possess a strong work ethic and be able to work independently
-
have some gardening skills and plant knowledge
Crew Lead
In addition to the duties of our crew members the Crew Leader is responsible for:
-
driving a company truck the job sites with a crew of 1-2 people
-
loading and unloading the truck with the days tools and materials
-
being the point of contact at the job site for both the client and crew members
Requirements:
-
must have a good understanding of gardening naturally and organically
-
have previous experience in a similar position, or 2+ seasons of gardening experience
-
maintain a valid driver’s license
-
previous experience driving a truck
-
have the ability to think on your feet, be proactive and potentially troubleshoot
-
possess some people skills to be friendly with both clients and crew members and the ability to know when to call for backup!
